Achieve data integrity
For most manufacturing industries, it is unacceptable to have different values of the same data recording in separate systems (e.g. in process applications versus production report). With data integrity we ensure that data recordings are consistent, properly organized and stored, and that we know at every point of time where the reference value of certain data recording come from.
