VLT® AQUA Drive FC202

VLT® AQUA Drive is dedicated frequency converter for powering AC motors in devices used for drinking and wastewater technology. It contains many special features such as protection against operation outside the intended working area (broken pipeline detection), protection against dry running of the pump, "sleep mode" to prevent unnecessary pump operation, cascade control for efficient operation of the pump group.

VLT Midi Drive FC280 compact frequency converter
VLT AAF active filters to eliminate higher harmonic components

VLT® AAF Advanced Active Filter

A highly flexible solution for eliminating higher harmonic components. It can be installed centrally for the whole or part of the plant, or separately for each frequency converter separately. Using a suitable transformer, the active filters can also be installed in the medium voltage network. Advanced active filters analyse the harmonic situation of the system and compensate for the higher harmonics present. They can also offset the reactive power in the system.

VLT® Soft Starter MCD 200

Compact soft starter, with built-in bypass contactor designed to bridge power thyristor elements after the startup process. There are two versions: the MCD201 with voltage ramp and without motor thermal protection, and the MCD202 with current limited ramp and motor thermal protection.
