2023
The year was marked by record achievements in terms of Group revenue (€23.7 million), number of employees in Slovenia (130) and R&D projects (14).
2022
Metronik expanded its presence to more than 20 European countries and China. In addition to updating the ISO 9001:2015 certification for its quality management system, the company obtained the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification for information security.
2021
Metronik began working with VDA for the automation and management of hotel rooms. The company expanded its solutions to the Irish and UK markets and became a global supplier to a leading pharmaceutical company.
2020
Celebrating 30 years in business, Metronik grew to more than 150 employees across three countries. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, marketing and sales activities shifted to virtual environments. Major projects were completed in Austria, Germany and Denmark.
2019
Metronik Group exceeded sales of €20 million for the first time, with more than 50% of revenues generated abroad.
2018
Metronik Group achieved record sales of €19 million, expanding into new markets in Russia, Ukraine and Belgium, while maintaining success in Southeastern Europe and Austria.
2017
Metronik addressed the challenges of digitalization and smart factories with advanced solutions under the MePIS platform, successfully implementing them in the pharmaceutical, food, automotive and other industries across the wider region.
2015
Metronik expanded the MePIS family of solutions for process management and celebrated 25 years of successful operation.
2014
The company marked its 24th year of growth, with over 100 full-time employees and €15 million in turnover. Metronik was named one of the top 50 best-rated companies by Dun & Bradstreet and Rating House I.
2012
Metronik Group employed 85 full-time staff and generated €11 million in turnover. Its systems were used by over 100 successful companies across seven countries.
2010
Metronik celebrated 20 years of successful operations.
2008
A Process Management Department was established, and Metronik expanded into the Bulgarian market with a new subsidiary, Metronik Systems in Sofia. The company's solutions were being used by 90 successful companies across four countries, including 65 in Slovenia.
2007
For the second consecutive year, Metronik was listed among the top 50 best-rated Slovenian companies by Dun & Bradstreet and Rating House I.
2003
Metronik employed 50 full-time staff and established a subsidiary in Belgrade. The company also developed the MePIS production information system.
2002
A comprehensive quality assurance system was implemented, and the company obtained ISO 9001:2000 certification for its entire operations.
2000
The Production Informatics Department and Metronik's Research and Development Group were established.
1999
The company moved to a new office building, with 25 full-time employees. It began distributing GE Power Controls switchgear.
1995
Metronik expanded into Croatia.
1993
Cooperation began with General Electric and Honeywell, expanding the company’s reach into building automation.
1991
A project implementation group was established, with the first projects in the pharmaceutical industry.
1990
Metronik was founded and began distributing automation and computer control equipment (Opto 22 and Intellution Fix).
