Data protection and privacy policy

At Metronik, we are dedicated to safeguarding your personal data collected through the opt-in form, newsletter subscription form, event registration form and any other data collected with your consent.

The personal data stored in our customer relationship management (CRM) system and email service (Mailchimp) includes the following information: name, job title, employer, work email address and telephone contact.

Purpose of processing personal data

Metronik uses personal data solely for its operations and activities, specifically for: sending Metronik e-newsletters, informing you about events, presentations and seminars, distributing publications by Metronik, offering business gifts and sending inquiries and offers.

Certain information and details relating to the processing of personal data within a particular contractual relationship may also be outlined in the contract or sales offer for that particular relationship. These general terms and conditions also apply to the processing of data of users who are legal entities or business entities, where applicable.

Information about the Data Controller

Unless otherwise specified in the documents governing the contractual relationship, the data controller for personal data is Metronik d.o.o., info@metronik.si. Transmission of personal data to third parties

Your personal data is protected by a username and password, accessible only by authorized Metronik employees. In the course of marketing activities conducted jointly with Metronik’s principals, your personal data may be transferred to third countries (EU and USA) for the purposes mentioned above. Metronik’s principals comply with the EU-US Privacy Shield and adopt the highest security measures for stored data, such as encryption of web connections, preventing unauthorized access, using secure passwords and intrusion prevention.

MailChimp tracks the delivery performance of sent emails by collecting data on opened messages, clicks on links, email clients, browsers, approximate location, IP address, logins, unsubscribes and failed deliveries. This data is stored for a maximum of six months after unsubscribing from emails.

Retention period

Metronik will store collected personal data indefinitely, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act and GDPR.

Your rights

You may withdraw your consent to process your personal data, either in full or in part, at any time by sending a written request to odjava@metronik.si.
