Investing in in-house research and development (15% of annual turnover) guarantees the company’s continued growth and strengthens its business performance in an increasingly competitive market.

Research and development activities are systematically carried out by the Metronik Development and Metronik Sustainable Development research groups, both of which are registered with the Public Agency for Research (ARIS) under numbers 6495-001 and 6495-002, employing over 60 researchers.

Through our R&D projects, we collaborate with leading educational and research institutions in Slovenia, including the Jožef Stefan Institute, the University of Ljubljana, the University of Maribor and the UL Innovation and Development Institute, as well as international partners such as Alpen-Adria University in Klagenfurt and Graz University of Technology.

Since 1990, we have completed over 60 R&D projects. Our team of IT engineers and professionals has extensive experience in process data acquisition, data processing and data science.

Metronik has served as the lead project partner or consortium member in numerous multi-partner R&D projects, working with manufacturing companies, technology solution providers, universities, research institutes and others (under programs such as Eureka, Eurostars, Erasmus+ and Horizon 2020).
